Ripping Things to Do: The Best Games and Ideas from Children's Books (Hodder & Stoughton) is published on July 9. Inspired by all the wonderful things children do in books, it's full of practical and imaginative suggestions and advice and has lots of lovely original illustrations. The underlying message is that children (and adults) who read great children's books will never be short of ripping things to do.
Other news this month: I have just finished writing Inspired to Quilt which will be published in the UK in March 2010 by Collins & Brown, and am now writing a knitting book for the same publisher.
